Features Control Bluetooth y Arduino
CONTROL YOUR RADIO CONTROLLED VEHICLES, THROUGH BLUETOOTH, WITH THE MOVEMENTS OF YOUR MOBILE, USING A SINGLE HAND.This application requires the assembly of a simple electronic circuit based on Arduino and a basic knowledge of electronics and Arduino.
However, the assembly of the circuit is practically reduced to making the connection by means of cables between the electronic boards, which are purchased already assembled (Arduino+Shield with 4 relays and the HC-05 Bluetooth module), only having to solder 5 little cables in the remote control of the radio control vehicle, at the points indicated in the manual.
In total, twelve small cables must be connected, one of which must be connected to two electronic resistors.Of course, the manual and the necessary sketches for Arduino are provided, which are downloaded from the application itself. So, through this application, and a simple electronic circuit based on Arduino, we will be able to control, through intuitive movements of the mobile phone, and with one hand, any radio control vehicle, whose movements are: forward, backward, right and left.
This allows you to get the most out of your RC vehicle.
The same electronic circuit can be used for different vehicles, provided that we provide a quick connector to the cables connected between the control and the Arduino board. It can be implemented in any RC vehicle, whether toy or professional, whose remote control has forward, backward, right and left controls. In order for the handling to be adapted to our preferences and to adjust the response of our radio controlled vehicle with respect to the movements of the hand, the application allows us to configure both the rest position of the mobile and the minimum angles for the activation of the different movements.
In the applications angle settings screen, a detailed graph is displayed. The application has a gear "button" in the center of the main screen, which must be pressed for the vehicle to respond to the movements that we apply to the mobile.
When we want the vehicle to stop immediately, just release this button, without having to worry about the position of the mobile. In addition, a very intuitive graphical representation of the dynamic control process is displayed, based on a "ball" that changes its position with the inclination of the mobile, while the angles of its inclination are represented. There is another, more technical, configuration available in the application, which is accessed by opening the corresponding screen.
Allows you to choose the command characters to be sent to the Arduino board for each required action.
Other characters other than those established by default can be configured, as long as they correspond to those established in the Arduino sketch.COMPONENTS OF THE CIRCUIT TO IMPLEMENT:The circuit to be implemented consists of the following main elements: • Arduino UNO (Another can be used, making the necessary changes).
• HC-05 Bluetooth Transceiver.
• 4-relay module with optocoupled control inputs.
• Two electronic resistors: 1 KΩ and 2.2 KΩ.
• External rechargeable battery with USB connectors (5000 mAh recommended) or 500 mA AC to DC adapter.NOTE: The scheme used here to use this application, as well as its components, is an option out of many possible ones.
An easy and quick to implement solution has been provided here.Although a minimum knowledge of electronics and Arduino is required, the manual details the entire process in such a way that its implementation is very simple. From the help screen of the application you can access the download links of all the documents necessary to implement this project (Manual, circuits, Arduino sketches).
